A record 39.6% of applicants passed the Foreign Medical Graduate Exam (FMGE), which was scheduled for December 2022 but was postponed to January 2023 due to the pandemic, because of focused preparation that started in the first year of MBBS, reliable online study materials, and downtime.

The FMGE’s pass rate has historically been poor, averaging between 10 and 20%. However, this year, the greatest number of pupils have been successful in passing the test. The National Exit Test (NExT), which the government intends to implement in the upcoming academic year, is another factor in the high success rate. The pupils have made every effort to pass FMGE since they are more comfortable with it than the next test, whose format they are less familiar with.

FMGE exam dates

The June session’s FMGE 2023 test will be delivered online. On the official website, candidates must register before applying for the FMGE 2023. The exam’s dates will shortly be released.

College government or private

While private colleges and universities rely on alumni giving and endowments to support their academic programs, public colleges, and universities receive the majority of their funding from state governments. Private colleges may be for-profit or nonprofit institutions.

Government institutions are reasonably priced and also take into account easing up on rules, such as granting fee concessions to students from economically disadvantaged backgrounds who can provide genuine qualifications. Perhaps private colleges are an exception to this.
