  • Students must have to appear and pass Medical Education Common Entrance Examination- Bachelor Level (MECEE-BL) and Medical Education Common Entrance Examination-Under Graduate (MECEE-UG) organized by Medical Education Commission (MEC) and secure over 50% marks in this common entrance examination for joining MBBS/BDS and other courses.
  • Students must appear in an interview in the final process of admission and successfully qualify in it.

Eligibility Criteria for MBBS Course Admission in Gandaki Medical College:

Students must need to attain the standards of the college and be eligible enough to pass the eligibility criteria for getting admission in Gandaki Medical College for MBBS, BDS and other courses.

The Eligibility criteria at Gandaki Medical College are as follows:

  • Students should have reached 17 years of age or more by 31st of july of the same year as the time of admission. Candidates beneath the age of 17 shall not be considered eligible for admission.
  • Candidates should have passed their 10+2 through an English Medium school.
  • Students with above 50% marks in all the subjects including Physics, Chemistry, Biology (PCB) in their higher secondary examination will be eligible for direct admission after facing a final interview.
  • Students must have passed with over 50% marks in their P.C.B subjects in their higher secondary examination.
  • Students passed with over 50% marks in their Physics, Chemistry and Biology but with marks below 50% in other subjects must appear and pass the admission test through common entrance examinations.
  • Students must pass their NEET Entrance Examination with 117+marks. Students failing to pass NEET with 117 marks must go through common entrance examinations such as MECEE-BL and MECEE-UG.

NEET Entrance Examination Qualification Score details for admission in Gandaki Medical College:

  • Students who fail to attain 117+marks in their NEET entrance examination must appear and pass compulsory exam for admission.
  • Students who pass with 117+ marks in their NEET entrance examination are eligible for direct admission to the interview round.
