Eligibility Criteria for Admission in Birat Medical College:

1. Applicants must be over 17 years of age by the time of admission.
2. Applicants must have passed their higher secondary from an English medium.
3. Applicants must have Physics, Chemistry, Biology (PCB) subjects in their H.S examination.
4. Applicants must have scored above 50% marks in their PCB subjects.
5. Applicants scoring above 50% marks in all the subjects in their Higher secondary examination including P.C.B are eligible for direct admission only to face an interview.
6. Applicants securing above 50% marks in their Physics, Chemistry and Biology but marks below 50% in other subjects must pass common entrance exams for admission.
7. Applicants must qualify their NEET Entrance Examination with or more than 117 marks. Applicants failing to attain 117 in their NEET examination must qualify through other common entrance examinations.

NEET Entrance Examination marks required for Admission in Birat Medical College:

• Applicants who fail the NEET Entrance Examination with less than 117 marks must qualify in other common entrance examination for admission.
• Applicants who receive 117 or more marks are eligible for direct admission. However the applicant must appear for an interview.

• If a student fails in University exam, NRs 15,000 has to be paid in each subject in the university re-exam besides university exam fee.
• Passing all internal exams is a must. Re-examination will be compulsory until all paper is cleared. If students have to retake an examination, NRs 5000 will be charged as re-exam fee.
• 20% late fee will be charged per day if fees is not paid within due date.
• Hostel and Mess fees should be paid in advance for 1 year.
• University exam fee as per KU rules not included in the above package.
• Hostel is compulsory till the student appears for final year board examination.
• If student chooses not to take food from college mess, no fee adjustments will be made.
• Electricity charges in hostel has to be paid by student for appliances such as A/C, Cooler, Heater, Boiler etc.
• Refundable Security Deposit of 1,00,000 INR has to be paid at the time of admission and will be refunded up on completion of the internship after deduction of all claims, fines and other deductions if any.
