The College of Medical Sciences Nepal is a private medical college located in Bharatpur, Chitwan. It is the first private medical college in Nepal and was established in 2003. The college was established to provide a quality medical education to the students of Nepal.

The college offers a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) program. It is affiliated with Kathmandu University and is recognized by the Nepal Medical Council. COMS Nepal has modern facilities and is equipped with the latest technology. The college has all the necessary infrastructure and resources required to provide quality medical education and healthcare.

Students have to pay the following fees during the seat booking and other 3 different yearly installments for the entire course duration of MBBS program of 4.5 years accompanied with another 1 year of internship.

Location of College of Medical Sciences:

The College of Medical Sciences is a private institute for MBBS in Nepal located in Bharatpur, Chitwan in Nepal. The College of Medical Sciences for MBBS is located at a distance of about approx. 150 kms away from Kathmandu and a distance over 200 kms. from the Indian town of Gorakhpur in Uttar Pradesh.

The College has separate accommodation and lodging facilities for male and female students along with transportation facilities.

About 100 students are entitled for admission in College of Medical Sciences for MBBS. Out of these students, normally 20-25% are nominated by the Govt. of Nepal. Rest 75-80% are enrolled through competitive medical examination of Kathmandu University.

Admission process for MBBS Course in College of Medical Sciences:

College of Medical Sciences with its cost-efficient and comparatively less expensive fee structure for its courses than other medical colleges for MBBS admission in Nepal is gaining momentum and marking exceptional improvement every year in different fields of medical training, healthcare and diagnostics.

Every year thousands of students apply for enrollment and admission in College of Medical Sciences but only a handful or hundred of students qualify through medical entrance examinations for getting enrolled for MBBS Course in College of Medical Sciences.

• Std. 10^th and Std. 12^th mark sheet certificates.

• NEET qualified with compulsory marks above 117.

• Passport of the candidate and one copy.
• Invitation letter received from the college.
• Medical certificate of ( HIV-)
• Digitalised  JPG format photograph.

Keeping in mind all these necessary documentations for admission, candidates must also qualify through the eligibility criteria to be enrolled for admission in College of Medical Sciences. Candidates must fulfill all the necessary eligibility conditions at once for MBBS Admission in Nepal.

Eligibility Criteria for Enrollment in College of Medical Sciences are as stated below:

• Students must have reached the age of 17 by the time of admission.
• Students must have passed their higher secondary from an English medium school.
• Students must have Physics, Chemistry, Biology (PCB) subjects in their 10+2 examination.
• Students must have scored above 50% marks in their PCB subjects in their 10+2 examination.
• Students who scored above 50% marks in all the subjects in their 10+2 examination including P.C.B are eligible for direct admission only to face an interview.
• Students securing above 50% marks in their Physics,Chemistry and Biology but marks below 50% in other subjects must appear through common entrance exams.
• Students must pass their NEET Entrance Examination with or more than 117 marks. Applicants failing to attain 117 in their NEET examination must qualify through other common entrance examinations such as Medical Education Common Entrance Exam-Bachelor Level (MECEE-BL) and Medical Education Common Entrance Exam-Under Graduate (MECEE-UG).
