Location of College of Medical Sciences:

The College of Medical Sciences is a private institute for MBBS in Nepal located in Bharatpur, Chitwan in Nepal. The College of Medical Sciences for MBBS is located at a distance of about approx. 150 kms away from Kathmandu and a distance over 200 kms. from the Indian town of Gorakhpur in Uttar Pradesh.

  • Students must pass their NEET Entrance Examination with or more than 117 marks. Applicants failing to attain 117 in their NEET examination must qualify through other common entrance examinations such as Medical Education Common Entrance Exam-Bachelor Level (MECEE-BL) and Medical Education Common Entrance Exam-Under Graduate (MECEE-UG).

How to get admission in College Of Medical Sciences (COMS)?

Admission to the CMS Nepal is done on the basis of marks obtained in the entrance examination conducted by the Institute of Medicine, Kathmandu.

The entrance examination is held every year in the month of June. Candidates who have passed the 10+2 examination or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English with minimum 50% marks in aggregate are eligible to appear for the entrance examination.

The CMS Nepal offers a four-and-a-half-year MBBS course leading to the degree of Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS). The course is divided into nine semesters. The first semester comprises of pre-clinical subjects like Anatomy, Physiology, Biochemistry, etc.

The second semester comprises of para-clinical subjects like Pathology, Pharmacology, Microbiology, etc. The third and fourth semester comprises of clinical subjects. The fifth semester is devoted to the compulsory rotating internship training in various departments of the college hospital.
