About Karnali Academy of Health Sciences

Karnali Academy of Health Sciences was founded in 2011 in Tinkune, Kathmandu, Nepal, and adheres to Nepal Government requirements.

It is a medical college in Nepal with a less than glorious history in Nepalese medical studies. To accommodate meritorious students from all areas of life, the course fee is maintained affordable. The college was founded with the intention of delivering high-quality medical education to Nepalese rural residents.

The chancellor of this state-funded college is Nepal’s Prime Minister, and the chancellor’s deputy is the Minister of Education, Government of Nepal. Mr. Dharma KantaBaskota is the Vice Chancellor. Mr. Dharma KantaBaskota is the Karnali Academy of Health Sciences’ Vice Chancellor.

Karnali Academy of Health Sciences operates on a semester system. All courses demand exams in English, and all courses are interacted with in English.

The Karnali Academy of Health Sciences is affiliated with three disciplinary schools :

1. Public Health School

2. Nursing School

3. Medical School

Eligibility Criteria

The willing candidate must meet the following prerequisites and criteria in order to be accepted into Karnali Academy of Health Sciences MBBS programme. These criteria have been established in accordance with the Government of Nepal’s rigorous guidelines:

1. The candidate must have reached the age of 17.

2. They must have completed their 10+2 standard or Intermediate of Science (1.Sc) with English, Biology, Physics, and Chemistry as major courses, and they must have received at least 50% in the average aggregate determined on the basis of these major subjects.

OR

Have a bachelor’s degree in any of the following subjects: Physics, Chemistry, or Biology (B.Sc) from a recognised university, and have studied one other science subject until the ancillary level, with at least a 50% aggregate, and meet the above condition and aggregate requirements of the 10+2 standard.

3. Nepali students who live in Nepal must take an entrance exam to assess merit for admission to this college, which is followed by an interview. International students and non-resident Nepali students must apply to the college for admission to the Karnali Academy of Health Sciences, which will be reviewed and accepted. Such documents must be approved by the Ministry of External Affairs of the student’s home country as well as the Nepalese Embassy. In India, students will be obliged to pass the NEET UG exams.

MECEE UG 2023 Application Procedure

Filling up application forms is done online. Registration is expected to begin in December 2022 and end in February 2023 at 5:00 PM. The application process consists of several steps. Candidates who meet the eligibility requirements may apply to more than one programme. They must, however, make separate bank payments for each application. Foreign candidates applying for MECEE BL 2023 must select one of the choices listed below.

• Foreign to appear MECEE BL 2023.

• Foreign not to appear MECEE BL 2023 who have passed the national level entrance examination of their respective countries.

Fill up the necessary information and pay the application cost. There is an option to amend the provision before submitting it.

The candidates applying for MECEE are required to possess the following documents : 

• Passport and Adhar Card
• Recently Clicked Passport size photograph.
• 10+2 transcript education certificate or equivalent certificate.
• Respective Council Registration Certificate.
• Last Six Digit Transaction Reference Number.
• Applicant’s Mobile Number.
