Manipal College of Medical Sciences (MCOMS) in Pokhara began offering MBBS in Nepal degree programme in 1994. In 1998, the 700-bed Manipal Teaching Hospital (MTH) in Pokhara was opened. Modern MBBS course in Nepal and healthcare facilities has been built into the college and hospital.
