1. On what basis is the tuition fee for medical education determined? In how many years is it reviewed? How can I get information about subject-wise, level-wise fees?

Ans:

National Medical Act 2075, Section 18(1) A – states that “the commission shall determine the fee taking into account the costs and operating expenses of the university, establishment or educational institution, inflation, geographical location, scholarships and free services”. The Commission determines the tuition fee on the same basis. The Commission forms a recommendation committee for the determination of tuition fees and determines the tuition fees based on the recommendations of the recommendation committee. Therefore, the rate of tuition fees for each academic semester may be different.

The details of the fees that may be changed annually are published on the Commission’s website. The details of category/programme fees for various subjects determined by the Medical Education Commission for the academic year 2079/080 are available on the Commission’s website www.mec.gov.np.

2. Are students studying on scholarship allowed to change subjects and educational institutions or not?

Ans:

Generally, students studying on scholarship cannot change subjects and educational institutions.

3. After the seats are determined by the executive committee, they are published on the Commission’s website for public information.

Ans:

There is no such thing as a maximum or a minimum as seats are determined according to the infrastructure, manpower, national and international practices and standards, focusing on the students’ learning.

4. How can the general public get information about how many seats and of which organization?

Ans:

After the seat is decided by the executive committee, it is published on the Commission’s website for public information.

5. How does the commission determine the seats of institutions that study medical education?

Ans:

The Standards Directorate of the Commission sets the standards of educational institutions. Based on these standards, a self-appraisal tool (Self Appraisal Tool / Yard Stick) has been developed. Information and information requested in the self-evaluation tool should be filled and provided by the relevant educational institution. Based on the information of the self-evaluation tool provided in that way, verification and monitoring is done by a group of experts appointed by the commission. Based on the recommendations of the Monitoring Group (Team), the Seat Determination Recommendation Committee prepares a report and submits it to the Executive Committee of the Commission.

6. Can educational institutes charge higher tuition fees than prescribed by the Medical Education Commission or not? What should I do if I am charged more?

Ans:

Since the teaching fee set by the Medical Education Commission is the maximum fee, no educational institution can charge more than the fee set by the Commission. If more fees are charged, a complaint can be made or information can be given to the district administration office of the concerned district, the concerned university and the medical education commission.

7. Is it compulsory to stay in the accommodation (hostel) of the educational institution or not?

Ans:

It is not compulsory to stay in the accommodation (hostel) of the educational institution, but must attend the classes designated by the educational institution on time as well as fulfill their study-related responsibilities.

8. What other fees should be paid while studying in educational institutions?

Ans:

It is not compulsory to pay any fees other than the tuition fees specified by the commission. Accommodation, food etc. may have to be paid in agreement with the concerned educational institution and the student/parent.

9. Are the tuition fees different or the same in different institutions that study/provide medical education in Nepal? Is it the same?

Ans:

In the MVVS program at the graduate level, the tuition fees of educational institutions outside the valley and within the valley are different. All other programs and educational institutions are the same.

10. What are the responsibilities of a student studying on a scholarship?

Ans:

Responsibilities of the studying student will be as follows:

• After being selected for the scholarship, one has to enroll in the respective university or institute,

• Regular studies should be done within the prevailing rules and discipline of the relevant educational institution,

• Can’t be left in the middle,

• The study must be completed within the prescribed period,

*• After completing the studies, according to the section 38 (1) of the Act, one year in remote and one year in Sugam must be compulsory service assigned by the Government of Nepal.

11. What does tuition fee mean in medical education?

Ans:

The National Medical Act 2075 clearly states that the term “teaching fee” means admission, teaching, lab, library, community training or examination fees charged by the educational institution throughout the study period of medical education and the term also refers to other fees charged by the educational institution with the approval of the Commission.

12. How to get a letter of intent and add a program?

Ans:

If any new educational institution is interested in conducting programs under medical education, if it needs to get a letter of intent according to section 11 of the Medical Education Act 2075, and if the educational institution that is conducting medical education programs needs to conduct additional programs, it should complete the process according to the internal procedures related to letter of intent, affiliation and accreditation, 2078. The procedure is available on the Commission’s website.

13. What conditions must be fulfilled by the educational institution that has received the Letter of Intent for the recommendation of the relationship?

Ans:

The educational institution receiving the Letter of Intent must meet the following conditions for recommendation of affiliation:

• Fulfilled the conditions mentioned in the Letter of Intent,

• For programs that require a hospital, have fully operated their own hospital with the specified number of beds for three consecutive years after taking approval according to the prevailing law.

• Completed the standards determined by the commission and the standards prescribed by the prevailing law.

• Submitted proof of eligibility to obtain affiliation from the University / Council.

• Completed the physical, academic and educational infrastructure as specified in the schedule.

• Attached Self Assessment Report.

• Completing all procedures prescribed by prevailing laws.

14. Where and when should one apply for the letter of intent to establish an institution in order to conduct medical education programs ?

Ans:

Those who wish to establish an institution to conduct medical education programs under the university/institution can submit an application to the commission for a letter of intent in the month of June every year. There is a provision that an application can be submitted within the month of June of every year on the recommendation of the council for running the programs under the council. For the letter of intent, the application should be submitted in the prescribed format along with the recommendation of the concerned university/institute or council after completing the process according to the National Medical Education Act, 2075, the National Medical Education Regulations, 2077 and internal procedures related to letter of intent, affiliation and accreditation, 2078.

15. How much fees should be paid to obtain a foreign study permit for medical education at the undergraduate level, postgraduate level, fellowship program and higher level training? If the permit is not available, will the amount be refunded or not?

Ans:

Regarding the foreign study permit for medical education, Rs.3000/- (three thousand) for undergraduate level and Rs.5000/- (five thousand) for fellowship program for postgraduate level or above should be paid to the Commission’s account in Himalayan Bank through the prescribed method.

If the person who has paid the fee in this way cannot be granted a permit without meeting the specified criteria, the amount is non-refundable, so the amount must be paid only after confirming if s/he is eligible or not to get the permit.

16. Can students who have completed their studies in less time than the equivalent level of Nepal get a study permit letter (Eligibility Letter) or not?

Ans:

After completing the foreign study, the equivalency certificate must be obtained from the Curriculum Development Center under Tribhuvan University. Eligibility letters will not be issued because the program which is taught in any level and subject of medical education for a shorter period than in Nepal will not get equivalence from the Curriculum Development Center and will not be registered with the relevant professional council.

17. Can those who go to study abroad without taking the integrated entrance exam of the commission or those who are not qualified after taking it get a study permit (Eligibility Letter) or not?

Ans:

A person who has not given the integrated entrance examination conducted by the commission or who has not qualified after taking the examination or has qualified in the entrance examination directly, but the validity period of the results prescribed by the law has expired, cannot get a study permit to study abroad. However, in case of passing the national level written entrance exam of the respective country designated by the commission, the student can be granted permission to study in the same country after obtaining a minimum score of 50 percent or equivalent to the 50th percentile.

18. How long can a Nepali citizen, with what specific qualifications, get an Eligibility Letter?

Ans:

Nepalese citizens who have passed the entrance examination conducted by the commission will get a permit to study the level and subject they have passed the entrance examination before the results of the next entrance examination are published, but those who want to study subjects that have not been conducted by the commission will need to pass the entrance examination of a similar subject at the same level. , (For example, passed the entrance exam of a subject such as BPH, VMLT taken by the commission for students who have taken bio group +2 or similar to study the subject of anesthesia at the undergraduate level).

19. What are the programs of the National Board of Medical Specialties?

Ans:

According to Schedule-8 of the National Medical Education Regulations 2077, the programs currently in operation are as follows.

• NBMS- Specialty

• NBMS-Sub Specialty

According to the National Board of Medical Specialties program operating procedure 2077, the programs of specialty (post-graduate level) and sub-specialty (higher than post-graduate level) are curated.

20. What are the other fees/expenses to be borne by the student himself?

Ans:

• Amount for participation in mandatory training and seminars

• Accommodation/transportation and other personal expenses

21. How much does it cost to study at the specialty/subspecialty level program?

Ans:

The amount to be paid by the students to the Medical Education Commission is as follows-

• For registration Rs. 50,000 (Rupees Fifty Thousand only) at the time of admission

• Thesis/Logbook/E-Logbook Processing and Review 50,000 (Rupees fifty thousand only) in 2nd year

• Lump sum amount for NBMS Board Examination and Certification is Rs. 2,000,00 (Rupees two lakhs only) in the third year

22. What are the provisions regarding recognition of specialty and subspecialty programs?

Ans:

According to the National Board of Medical Specialties Program Operation Procedure 2077, the specialty level program will be equivalent to the postgraduate level and the subspecialty level program will be equivalent to the higher level.

23. What is the provision regarding the degree of specialty and subspecialty program?

Ans:

Section 6 (j) of the National Medical Education Act 2075, under the commission’s duties and powers, there is a provision to award degrees to doctors who pass the examination conducted by the National Board of Medical Specialties.

24. Who conducts the Final Exit Exam of the students who have enrolled and completed their studies in the NBMS program?

Ans:

Conducting the final examination and certification of the specialty/subspecialty level is done by the Medical Education Commission, National Board of Medical Specialties.

25. What are the qualifications to study in the program of the National Board of Medical Specialties?

Ans:

Must be registered with Nepal Medical Council and must have passed the integrated entrance examination of the relevant level conducted by the Commission.

• Students who have passed the integrated entrance examination will have to select the program and institution according to the matching system prescribed by the commission.

• After matching in the specialty/subspecialty program, the NBMS directorate should be admitted after making a confession.

26. What are the procedures to be completed by the organizations that want to run the programs of the National Board of Medical Specialties?

Ans:

• The National Board of Medical Specialties will have to publish a public notice and submit the self-assessment as requested.

• Organizations that get permission and seats for the program must enter into a bilateral agreement with the National Board of Medical Specialties and conduct the program according to the agreement.

• Regular tutoring for students enrolled in the NBMS program as prescribed by the curriculum

Rotational posting and other educational/academic activities will have to be conducted.

• Students enrolled in the NBMS program will have to conduct an internal examination in 6/6 months.

• The organization conducting the program under the board must provide subsistence allowance equal to the salary of at least the ninth level specialist of the Government of Nepal to the students studying at the specialty level and the students studying at the subspecialty level.

27. Where can the programs of the National Board of Medical Specialties be conducted?

Ans:

It can be conducted in government and private hospitals that have completed the prescribed infrastructure, except for universities, institutes or educational institutions affiliated to the university.

28. Is the study permit (Eligibility Letter) mandatory to study abroad? Since I completed my studies abroad without obtaining a study permit, should I get a study permit or not? If so, how?

Ans:

Before going to a foreign university or educational institution to study higher education towards medical education, you should get a study permit (Eligibility Letter) from the commission. Since it will be registered with the professional council related to the subject studied only after submitting the application with the Eligibility Letter, it is mandatory to obtain the permit before going to study. But if someone went to study abroad before August 15, 2077 (October 1, 2020) without taking that permit and was eligible to get a study permit in that year, such students should apply to the relevant business council.

29. What are the duties and rights of the National Board of Medical Specialties?

Ans:

As mentioned in Rule 31 of the National Medical Education Regulations 2077, its main scope is as follows:

• To prepare curriculum for conducting programs of specialties

• To identify institutions and faculties to conduct programs of specialties in health institutions that have completed the infrastructure.

• Conducting or conducting examinations of National Board of Medical Specialties to prepare a list of faculty and participants for studies in clinical disciplines of specialties.

• To consult and coordinate with national and international organizations that develop and implement monitoring and evaluation systems

30. What is the National Board of Medical Specialties?

Ans:

As mentioned in section 28 (d) of the National Medical Education Act 2075, the directorate-board is one of the four directorates established under the Medical Education Commission. Provisions related to its formation, work duties and rights are contained in Rule 30 (1) of the National Medical Education Regulations 2077.

31. What is the work of the Medical Education Commission in matters related to curriculum?

Ans:

The Medical Education Commission is to prepare the national curriculum format/blueprint for the field of medical education and maintain the format and uniformity of the national curriculum.

32. What are the provisions related to student selection in the scholarships received by the Commission from abroad through the Government of Nepal?

Ans:

If the matching process of the integrated entrance examination of the relevant level has not been completed while choosing the scholarship seat received from abroad, then the students will be selected through the matching system by determining the priority for the educational institutions of Nepal and the scholarship seats available from abroad at the same time.

33. What kind of confession should a student who studies for free or on a scholarship do? What happens if a student does not do the work as per the confession?

Ans:

Students who study for free or on scholarship must submit a confession to work for one year in remote and one year in Sugam as assigned by the Government of Nepal after their studies. If a student does not do the work as per the confession, Students who pay full fees in the respective educational institutions will be fined twice the amount paid and collected from them as per the official demand.

34. What kind of documents must be submitted by candidates who are interested in studying in scholarship facilitated from educational institutions of Nepal and also from abroad?

Ans:

Candidates who wish to study on scholarships from educational institutions within Nepal and from abroad will be selected on the basis of the following documents submitted while applying for the integrated entrance examination.

• Nepali Citizenship / National Identity Card

• Evidence of having qualified in the integrated entrance examination of the relevant level conducted by the Medical Education Commission,

• Attested documents of reserved group for scholarship towards reserved group,

• Departmental approval in case of government employees,

• Other documents as requested by the commission.

35. What kind of action will be taken if the students selected for the scholarship do not follow their responsibilities?

Ans:

If the students selected for the scholarship do not follow the responsibilities as specified, it will be as follows:

• Any conducted by the Commission after the year of admission to the prescribed educational institution and dropout

He will not be allowed to participate in the integrated entrance examination of the level for two consecutive years. In addition, he will be ineligible to study in the same level of scholarship in the future.

• If the student who received the scholarship does not do the work as per the confession, he will be fined double the amount paid by the student who paid the full fee and will be charged the same as the government debt.

• If the student receiving the scholarship does not do the work as per the confession, it will be according to the Act and Regulations.

36. What should I do to prove that I have studied in a public school from class 6 to 10? What kind of documents are required for this? How is the prescribed form available?

Ans:

In order to prove that you have studied in a public school from class 6 to 10, you should fill in your details in the prescribed form and submit an application to the school where you have studied. After being certified by the Principal of the school, it should also be certified by the head of the education branch of the relevant local level. For this, grades 6 to 10, certificates are required. Those certificates and the form certified by the principal of the school should be submitted to the head of education at the local level. If the behavior is correct, the head of education at the local level should sign his name and position and affix the seal of the office.

37. How to get the information about the acceptance or rejection of the integrated entrance examination application form?

Ans:

The Directorate of Examinations can accept or reject the application form by accepting the application forms received through online means and the Commission will inform the concerned candidate through his profile.

38. What documents are required to apply for the Unified Entrance Examination?

Ans:

• Nepalese citizenship / national identity card and passport in case of foreign nationals,

• Minimum educational qualification certificate and transcript.

• In the case of Nepalese who have passed from a foreign board or university, a certificate of equivalency from the institution or university designated by the Government of Nepal,

39. What should be considered before applying for the integrated entrance examination conducted by the commission?

Ans:

• Notices published by the Commission should be read and understood carefully.

• Must ensure that you meet your minimum qualifications.

• One has to submit the application form through online mode in the group they want to apply.

• In order not to conflict with the examination schedule, one or more educational programs should be applied for by uploading bank vouchers separately.

• As the deadline for filling the bank voucher ends 2 days before the last date for submitting the application, you should read and understand the information carefully.

• All the documents to be uploaded along with the application form should be submitted.

40. What kind of qualification must be obtained to be included in the integrated entrance examination of the graduate level taken by the commission?

Ans:

• In order to join the entrance examination of the graduate level, one must have passed class 12 or equivalent with science (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) with an average of 50 percent marks or 2.4 GPA, but for BNS (Bachelor in Nursing Science) Proficiency Certificate Level or Must have passed with at least 50% marks in Diploma in Nursing and must be registered with Nepal Nursing Council.

• Details of the additional qualifications required to join the entrance examination of the graduate level.

41. What are the levels, subjects and programs under medical education?

Ans:

Under medical education, there are 14 subjects/educational programs towards undergraduate level, 53 towards postgraduate level, 15 towards DM/MCh. National Board of Medical Specialties has Specialty (like Post Graduate) and Sub specialty (like DM/MCh) programs.

42. Do you have to come to the commission to fill the form for the integrated entrance examination?

Ans:

No need. All activities related to the examination of the commission including filling the examination form are done online.

43. When will the form of integrated entrance examination of medical education open?

Ans:

Examination-related activities are conducted based on the annual academic schedule (academic calendar) published by the commission. To get the annual academic schedule, visit the commission website www.mec.gov.np

44. When and where will the commission submit its annual report?

Ans:

The Commission prepares and submits to the Government of Nepal an annual report containing the details of its activities during the financial year within sixty days of the end of each financial year.

45. How can I get the admit card for the entrance exam conducted by the commission?

Ans:

• The commission has arranged that after the work of maintaining the roll number and determining the center is completed, the concerned candidate can view and print the admit card from 5 days before the entrance exam through his profile.

• Candidates should print the colored admit card and carry it to the examination hall.

46. What is the punishment if a student is found to have submitted a fake document?

Ans:

If the details submitted by an examinee at the time of application and the educational certificates and documents uploaded are found to be false, his/her name may be removed from the merit list at any time and such candidate may be barred from participating in any level of entrance examination conducted by the Medical Education Commission for two academic semesters as per the decision of the Executive Committee. In addition, if such a fake document is proven, action can be taken at any time, even while being a student or in the future in the profession. His professional license (license) of his respective council may also be revoked. Additional action may also be taken according to the prevailing law.

Ans:

48. If the affiliation of an educational institution is revoked, will there be any problem for the students studying in that institution or not? What kind of arrangements are made in order to complete the studies of those students?

Ans:

If the affiliated or affiliated educational institution does not meet the approved standards or charges more than the fee determined by the commission, the affiliation of one or more educational programs of such educational institution may be revoked.

In this way, if the relationship is canceled, there will be no problem for the students studying in that institution to complete their studies. The work of completing the studies and awarding degrees to the students studying in such educational institutions will be done by the concerned university or council, and the financial responsibility will be the educational institution whose affiliation has been terminated.

49. What is the student admission process in medical education? What should the student do if the designated educational institution does not accept students?

Ans:

The process of admission of students in medical education-teaching institutions will be as follows.

(a) After passing the integrated entrance examination conducted by the commission, one can be admitted to the relevant educational institution only through the process of matching based on the merit order.

(b) Minimum 5 days time is given for admission after the publication of admission list of each stage.

(c) The admission process can be completed within 35 days of the commencement of the academic session.

If the designated educational institution does not take admission, the student should contact the head of the educational institution and clarify the reason and contact the commission to solve the problem. In this regard, the Commission understands the reality and addresses the rules.

Ans:

The commission takes applications through public notification for the listing of experts related to the examination, related to standards and required in other subject areas and prepares a list of experts from among the experts who meet the specified criteria. Experts are mobilized based on the three listed names.

52. Who are the experts working in the commission?

Ans:

The experts of the educational institutions who teach/provide various related subjects in the field of medical education are the experts of the commission.

53. How can you take a print out of the Score Card showing your score in the entrance exam results conducted by the commission?

Ans:

Detailed details of the results can be viewed from the commission’s website https://mec.gov.np and web portal https://entrance.mec.gov.np. The examinee can log in to his profile to view the result and download the scorecard, so he learns to download and print his scorecard. In this way the score card should be printed and kept safely till required later.

54. In which subjects should I get an Eligibility Letter for foreign study from the Medical Education Commission?

Ans:

A study permit (eligibility letter) should be obtained to study medical education at a foreign educational institution for undergraduate level / postgraduate level (MD/MS/MDS) / DM, MCH academic fellowship course. Foreign study permit should be obtained for academic subjects registered in medical education councils. However, the commission does not issue study permits for non-academic and professional courses for skill transfer, which are not registered with the respective councils.

55. Who prepares the question paper in the Commission’s integrated entrance examination? How is it moderated/selected?

Ans:

The work is done confidentially according to the prescribed procedure by the persons determined by the examination directorate and the examination committee from among the experts in the expert list (roster).

56. Can a student who has been enrolled in an educational institution cancel his or her enrollment?

Ans:

A student who has been admitted to an educational institution cannot cancel his/her admission.

57. How long does the recognition of the merit order issued by the Matching Commission last?

Ans:

• The merit order established through the integrated entrance examination will be maintained for one academic session.

• Applying from the second priority to the designated seats for foreign student admission purposes

In the case of candidates, only the latest integrated entrance exam related to national level medical education of the respective country listed by the commission will be accepted.

58. How should priority setting be done for matching?

Ans:

Priority setting for matching should be done as follows:-

(a) A notice will be published to determine the priority of the candidates who are in the process of choosing educational institutions and educational programs for the seats obtained or determined for scholarship or paid studies through the online system.

b) According to (a) above, when the commission calls for applications for online prioritization, information publication and matching system will be conducted in such a way that when matching candidates in the order of merit, integrated or separate programmatic priority order can be determined.

c) Candidates in the order of merit who want to participate in matching for studies will proceed with the matching process based on the order of priority filled within the specified time. . Candidates who miss the priority will be eligible for wrap-up matching only.

d) One should determine the priority only in the subject (educational program) and institution that one actually wants to study.

e) Before determining the order of priority, it should be determined whether the concerned college/campus is government or private and whether the number of seats is free or paid.

59. What is matching? How is the matching of candidates who have passed the entrance exam executed?

Ans:

Matching should be understood as the process of selecting students for admission to educational institutions and educational programs based on the merit order of the entrance exam results and the priority determined by the candidate. The matching of the candidates who have passed the entrance examination will be done as per the following procedure:-

• The main basis for student admission selection will be the merit order of the integrated entrance examination as per Section 16 of the Act. For the selection of educational institutions and educational programs, the medical education integrated entrance examination and the online preference filled by the students will also be taken as a basis according to section 24 of the procedures related to student admission.

• Based on the application submitted by the candidate, group merit order, group reservation percentage, priority order of educational institutions and educational programs, candidates with higher merit order should be prioritized and matched for admission.

• Candidates who have passed the examination (SLC or SEE) at the end of class 6 to the end of class 10 of the secondary level from the community schools of Nepal will be matched in the reserved seat and only if the seat becomes vacant, candidates from the same community who have passed the exam at the end of the class 10 from other schools within Nepal will be included in the matching process based on the order of merit. will have to be done.

• Students who are not admitted after matching scholarship/government seats can be included in paid/open matching. Students who are not enrolled in paid/open matching may participate in the final matching as per sub-section (4).

Other arrangements related to matching of candidates who have passed the entrance exam are as per Section 25 of the Medical Education Integrated Entrance Examination and Procedures for Student Admission.

60. Under what circumstances can the examination of the examinee be canceled?

Ans:

• Candidates should fill up their roll no. in the answer book (OMR Sheet). And they should fill up the Set in the bubble of the question paper. If in case the set is not filled (not mentioned) or the answer book of the candidate who fills the bubble is wrongly mentioned the paper will be cancelled.

• The examinees who do unlimited and improper actions such as making noise in the examination hall and the center and causing copying, will be immediately punished and expelled by the center president. In this way, the answer book of the examinee who is subject to action and expulsion will be canceled without examination.

• The examination will be canceled even if the commission decides to cancel it after it is found that there has been improper conduct in the examination.

61. After the result of the entrance examination, how is the merit order of the examinees determined?

Ans:

• In order to be eligible for admission, the results of the integrated entrance examination should be at least 50th percentile based on the marks obtained by the candidates participating in the respective examination.

• In the case of candidates applying from the second priority in the designated seat for the purpose of foreign student admission, the 50th percentile of the latest integrated entrance exam related to medical education of foreign countries listed by the commission or the result of the said entrance exam is in the 50th percentile, the minimum score of 50% will be maintained.

• On the basis of the integrated entrance examinations of different national levels, the integrated merit order of the candidates who have qualified and applied within the stipulated time will be determined according to the percentage of their marks.

62. What are the main functions of the Medical Education Commission?

Ans:

The Medical Education Commission is mainly responsible for determining the fees of educational programs related to medical education, determining seats, conducting integrated entrance exams, determining criteria for providing letters of intent and affiliation of educational institutions, and providing foreign study permits. There are many other things that the Medical Education Commission does. For detailed information on the work, duties and rights of the Commission, see Section 6 of the National Medical Education Act, 2075 and Rule 3 of the National Medical Education Regulations, 2077.

63. How can information about the results of the entrance examination conducted by the Commission be available?

Ans:

• Detailed details of the results can be viewed from the commission’s website https://mec.gov.np and web portal https://entrance.mec.gov.np.

64. What kind of action will be taken if the information submitted by the examinee is found to be false?

Ans:

If you want to contest any claim against the candidate who falls under any reservation group in the published results, you can file a complaint with the commission within the specified time period with real evidence. If the details submitted by a candidate at the time of application or the educational certificates and documents uploaded are found to be false, his/her name may be removed from the merit list at any time and such candidate may be barred from participating in the entrance examination of any level conducted by the Medical Education Commission for two academic sessions in accordance with sub-section 4 of section 10 of the procedure. In addition, if such a fake document is proven, action can be taken at any time, even while being a student or in the future in the profession. His professional license (license) of his respective council may also be revoked. There may be additional proceedings according to the prevailing law.

65. Is there a provision for  re-application for the students who are not satisfied with the merit list of the unified entrance exam? What should be done for this?

Ans:

If you are not satisfied with the results of the integrated entrance examination, you can file an application as mentioned in the notification within 3 days of the publication of the results by paying the prescribed fee.

66. How early should the examinees reach the centers of the entrance examination conducted by the commission and how long before the exam starts they can enter the examination hall? And after how long can you leave the exam hall?

Ans:

• Candidates should reach the examination center mentioned in the admit card 2 hours before the commencement of the examination.

• Entry to the examination hall is allowed 30 minutes before the commencement of the examination.

• Candidates who come after 15 minutes of the examination will not be allowed to enter the examination hall.

• You can leave the exam hall only after the exam time is over.

67. What are the things to pay attention to while writing the answer in the answer book (OMR Sheet)?Is there a sample of the OMR Sheet filled in the right way?

Ans:

• Write your name, roll number in your OMR sheet in the correct manner and fill the form accordingly.

• Write the date of the exam in the prescribed format.

• Signing at the place where the examinee signs.

• Which of the question papers have you got: set A,B,C,D? Write in the place of writing Set together and fill the bubble accordingly

• Read each question and fill in the correct letter from the given options.

• Use only gel pens provided in the examination hall.

• Do not break, fold or fold the OMR Sheet.

68. What material can the examinee bring to the exam hall? What materials cannot be brought in the examination hall?

Ans:

• In the case of foreign examinees, no materials other than admit card, complete citizenship / complete national identity card / complete passport will be allowed to be taken to the examination hall.

• Candidates are not allowed to take mobiles, watches, all kinds of jewelry, mobiles etc. to the examination hall.

69. What are the things that candidates should pay attention to in the exam center while taking the entrance exam?

Ans:

• Must reach the exam center on time.

• Admit card, complete citizenship / national identity card / complete passport in case of foreign examinees should be accompanied.

• The instructions written in the admit card should be followed completely.

• The roll number and the number of the question paper set (Key) must be written correctly and the corresponding bubble must be filled in the correct manner.

• You should fill the bubble correctly with the answer you think is correct.

• If the examinee fills the correct bubble while writing the roll number and set, the result of such examinees will not be published.

• Do not make mistakes in the admit card. If you need a paper for khesra, you should use the blank part of the question paper.

• After the end of the examination period, both the question paper and the answer sheet (OMR Sheet) should be submitted and left only.
