About Nepal Medical College

Nepal Medical College (NMC) is located in Kathmandu, around 11 kilometers northeast of the city, near Attarkhel of Jorpati Village Development Committee. It is located at the base of a mound. It has the serene and tranquil environment that a medical college and teaching hospital require. The Gokarna hillock with pine trees is about half a kilometre away on the north, the Gokarna Safari Park is about one kilometre away on the east, the terraces with trees encircling the NMC campus is about one kilometre away on the west, and the NMC campus, which includes the college and Nepal Medical College Teaching Hospital (NMCTH), has access to the main road through its main entrance on the southwest.

The application dates for the entrance exam as disclosed by Medical Education Commission are : 

Eligibility Criteria

Students are admitted to the college based on merit, management quota, and foreign quota.

• Applicants must have completed a 10 + 2 school education from a recognised education board or an equivalent qualification recognised by universities.

• Biology, Physics, and Chemistry must be key subjects of study.

• The minimum qualifying mark for application is 50% in total.

• For applicants, the university holds an entrance exam. The minimum qualifying score is 50%.

• Students with 50% or higher in all disciplines may apply for admission through the direct quota.

MECEE UG 2023 Application Procedure

Filling up application forms is done online. Registration is expected to begin in December 2022 and end in February 2023 at 5:00 PM. The application process consists of several steps. Candidates who meet the eligibility requirements may apply to more than one programme. They must, however, make separate bank payments for each application. Foreign candidates applying for MECEE BL 2023 must select one of the choices listed below.

• Foreign to appear MECEE BL 2023.

• Foreign not to appear MECEE BL 2023 who have passed the national level entrance examination of their respective countries.

Fill up the necessary information and pay the application cost. There is an option to amend the provision before submitting it.

The candidates applying for MECEE are required to possess the following documents : 

• Passport and Adhar Card
• Recently Clicked Passport size photograph.
• 10+2 transcript education certificate or equivalent certificate.
• Respective Council Registration Certificate.
• Last Six Digit Transaction Reference Number.
• Applicant’s Mobile Number.
