Eligibility criteria for Nepalgunj Medical College (NMC) are as follows: Applicants must have passed the Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) examination from a recognized board with a minimum aggregate of 45% marks in Biology, Physics, and Chemistry.

Additionally, applicants must have obtained a minimum of 50% marks in Biology, Physics, and Chemistry in the HSC examination. Applicants must also have obtained a valid score in the National Eligibility Entrance Test (NEET) conducted by the National Board of Examinations (NBE). The minimum score required is 50% for general category candidates and 40% for SC/ST/OBC candidates. Applicants must also have a valid passport and must have undertaken the required medical fitness test.

  • Applicants must be over 17 years of age.
  • Applicants must have passed their higher secondary from an English medium.
  • Applicants must have Physics, Chemistry, Biology (PCB) subjects in their H.S examination.
  • Applicants must have scored above 50% marks in their PCB subjects.
  • Applicants scoring above 50% marks in all the subjects in their Higher secondary examination including P.C.B are eligible for direct admission only to face an interview.
  • Applicants securing above 50% marks in their Physics, Chemistry and Biology but marks below 50% in other subjects must pass common entrance exams for admission.
  • Applicants must qualify their NEET Entrance Examination with or more than 117 marks. Applicants failing to attain 117 in their NEET examination must qualify through other common entrance examinations.
