The commission has drawn serious attention to the fact-free, fabricated and false news in some online media regarding the process of taking applications and selection from students interested in studying medicine. It is known to all that the commission has been carrying out its work in a clean and transparent manner without violating the prevailing laws, laws and procedures, and has been informing the stakeholders of the activities to be done by the commission through the schedule, and has been carrying out the work within the corresponding time frame. It has been notified to the public that no person’s application will be accepted by the Commission after the specified time for filling the application form, the matching of the candidates who have applied under the second priority has not yet taken place and it will be done on the 1st and 2nd of January 2080. The commission refutes such baseless news, noting that the information and data in the system of the commission is not accessible to others until it is made public by the commission and the data contained in the news is not consistent with the actual analysis of usage. The relevant media are requested not to publish such news that may tarnish the dignity of the Commission as a regulatory body and the officials and employees of the Commission.

According to the notification published on August 15th, 2080, the candidates who have qualified to participate in the Integrated Entrance Examination to be conducted to select students for admission to various educational programs of Bachelor of Medical Education (MECEE-BL. 2024) in the academic session 2080/081, online until October 14th, 2080 Commission’s online application system https://entrance.mec.gov.np/Account/Login Chat application fee payment date for the convenience of the candidates who could not apply due to closed on October 14th, 2080 at 5:00 p.m. The commission has extended the time to submit the application till 5:00 pm. As 111 foreign students applied in the added time, the candidate who applied last to the commission applied on October 16, 2080 at 4:49 pm. Risav Patel had already applied at 10:13 on October 13, 2080, ahead of the time that the commission had issued it. A total of 963 foreigners have applied both under the first and second priority. Therefore, it seems that the published news has been published with wrong intentions without any basis and facts.
