About Birat Medical College
Birat Medical College, located in Biratnagar, Nepal, is one of the leading medical colleges in the country. Conditions:
- If a student fails in University exam, NRs 15,000 has to be paid in each subject in the university re-exam besides university exam fee.
- Passing all internal exams is a must. Re-examination will be compulsory until all paper is cleared. If students have to retake an examination, NRs 5000 will be charged as re-exam fee.
- 20% late fee will be charged per day if fees is not paid within due date.
- Hostel and Mess fees should be paid in advance for 1 year.
- University exam fee as per KU rules not included in the above package.
- Hostel is compulsory till the student appears for final year board examination.
- If student chooses not to take food from college mess, no fee adjustments will be made.
- Electricity charges in hostel has to be paid by student for appliances such as A/C, Cooler, Heater, Boiler etc.
- Refundable Security Deposit of 1,00,000 INR has to be paid at the time of admission and will be refunded up on completion of the internship after deduction of all claims, fines and other deductions if any.
Birat Medical College – Eligibility Criteria 2023
Birat Medical College in Nepal has set some eligibility criteria for admission. Students must have completed their 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry and Biology as compulsory subjects and have obtained a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate in these subjects. Additionally, they must have also passed their SLC Examination with at least a second division. Furthermore, students should have a minimum age of 17 years at the time of admission. The college also accepts valid scores in NEET UG entrance examination.
All applicants seeking admission in Birat Medical College must be able to satisfy all the requirements of Eligibility criteria for Birat Medical College.
The requirements are as stated below:
- Applicants must be over 17 years of age by the time of admission.
- Applicants must have passed their higher secondary from an English medium.
- Applicants must have Physics, Chemistry, Biology (PCB) subjects in their H.S examination.
- Applicants must have scored above 50% marks in their PCB subjects.
- Applicants scoring above 50% marks in all the subjects in their Higher secondary examination including P.C.B are eligible for direct admission only to face an interview.
- Applicants securing above 50% marks in their Physics, Chemistry and Biology but marks below 50% in other subjects must pass common entrance exams for admission.
- Applicants must qualify their NEET Entrance Examination with or more than 117 marks. Applicants failing to attain 117 in their NEET examination must qualify through other common entrance examinations.
