Manipal College of Medical Sciences (MCMS) is a private medical institute located in Pokhara, Nepal established in the year 1994. The association of Manipal College of Medical Sciences with Manipal Teaching Hospital, the college is usually called as Manipal Medical College in normal and easier terms.

Admission Process in Manipal College of Medical Sciences:

The admission process for enlistment in Manipal College of Medical Sciences requires applicants to qualify through the eligibility criteria of the college for MBBS admission in Manipal College of Medical Sciences and other courses are as follows:

Eligibility Criteria in MCOMS:

  • Students must have reached the age of 17.
  • Students must have passed their higher secondary from an English medium school.
  • Students must have Physics, Chemistry, Biology (PCB) subjects in their H.S examination.
  • Students must have scored above 50% marks in their PCB subjects and 65% total aggregate in their H.S examination.
  • Students who scored above 50% marks in all the subjects in their H.S examination including P.C.B are eligible for direct admission only to face an interview.
  • Students securing above 50% marks in their Physics, Chemistry and Biology but marks below 50% in other subjects must appear through common entrance exams.
  • Students must pass their NEET Entrance Examination with or more than 117 marks. Applicants failing to attain 117 in their NEET examination must qualify through other common entrance examinations such as Medical Education Common Entrance Exam-Bachelor Level (MECEE-BL) and Medical Education Common Entrance Exam-Under Graduate (MECEE-UG).

NEET Entrance Examination marks required for admission in Manipal College of Medical Sciences:

  • Applicants who fail to score 117 or above in their NEET entrance examination must qualify compulsory examination for admission.
  • Applicants who pass their NEET entrance examination with more than 117 marks are eligible for direct admission. No Exam/Form compulsory.

After the successful qualification of candidates through the eligibility criteria and NEET Entrance Examination, candidates are required to produce certain documentations at the time of admission.
