Vice President of India M Venkaiah Naidu said that Medical Education should be affordable to all
During the meeting of annual medical teachers’ day awards, vice president Naidu said that students should get easy access to medical studies so that more and more health workers are produced. He also said that from the one lakh passed out students of MBBS graduates only a thousand get to join the post graduate course since the PG courses are costly. Hence, medical education should be affordable.
He also added that medical treatment along with education should also be affordable. Training sessions are provided to the students in private hospital under the supervision of National Board of Examination.
