Reaching the hospital on time doesn’t save lives
Covid-19 has claimed the lives of 11,123 persons across the country as of September 30, 2021. According to a news report based on a review of the Covid-19 fatality data till mid-June, 92 percent of people died in hospitals. According to a report published on the online news portal Nepal Live in partnership with the Centre for Data Journalism, just 5% of people died at home, while less than 1% died on their trip to hospitals and isolation centres (CDJN).
